This book features a sampling of work produced by Koeweiden Postma over the course of its first 15 years, from the studio’s founding in 1987 to the present day. Richly illustrated, the book is entirely in keeping with Koeweiden Postma’s approach: effervescent yet understated, the result refreshingly candid. It is a story told in pictures (the reader can decide what’s being ‘said?). It is also a collection of little stories that amplify certain key aspects of the various projects presented: memorable aspects mostly, things worth mentioning, ironic and witty bits, things that went exceedingly well, or things that didn’t go well at all. The numerous images and assorted stories presented in this book combine to form a single narrative, which not only lends insight into the creative and unquestionably passionate world of Koeweiden Postma, but also provides readers with an unusually personal account of the history of Dutch graphic design.
