Kenya Hara is a Graphic Designer representing the Nippon Design Center Inc. and is a professor at Musashino Art University. His work is deeply rooted in Japanese culture, particularly in his involvement with the Nagano Winter Olympic Games and the promotional campaign for the AICHI EXPO 2005. Among many awards received both overseas and in Japan are the awards for book design, including the Kodansha Publication Culture Award, Hiromu Hara Award, Yusaku Kamekura Design Award, and the Japan Culture and Design Award for the body of his design work.
