Graphic Design Manual

This newly revised book was first published in 1965. Elements of image and form are analyzed and investigated with regard to their inherent laws. The knowledge won by logically working through the material at hand can indeed be learned - it belongs to the tools of every designer and typographer. The lessons of methodical design are used today in computer design, as well. This book is a fundamental part in modern graphic design and art. We see this book as the brother to Emil Ruder's "Typographie" and a must in any collection.

Armin started teaching at the Basel School of Design in 1947 and was a vsionary in every sense. He combined the classic with a modern aesthetic and was a huge player in development of the Swiss International Style.
